Position Overview:
We are seeking a customer-oriented and professional Part-Time Valet Concierge to join our team. As a Part-Time Valet Concierge, you will be the face of our valet parking service, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless parking experience for our clients and their guests. Your attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and excellent communication skills will contribute to creating a positive and memorable experience for everyone we serve.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome patrons with a warm and courteous attitude, creating a positive first impression. Assist patrons in safely and efficiently parking their vehicles, ensuring proper handling and care. Retrieve parked vehicles promptly and accurately upon request, delivering them in a timely manner.
Provide accurate information and directions to guests regarding parking, event venues, and local attractions. Maintain a clean and organized valet area, ensuring a pleasant and orderly environment for patrons. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely, following established protocols.
Act as a knowledgeable resource for guests, answering inquiries, providing recommendations, and resolving any issues or concerns promptly and professionally. Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient parking services. Adhere to safety protocols and traffic regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment for patrons and staff. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, representing our valet parking service with professionalism and courtesy.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality or parking industry. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy in handling and parking vehicles. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical stamina and the ability to withstand prolonged standing, walking, and occasional lifting of heavy objects.
